Virgin Mobile
Collaborating with Virgin Mobile at One Trick Pony was an absolute blast. Every second quarter felt like stepping into the ‘Land of the Free,’ as I liked to call it. Rob Reed would kick off with his amazing illustrative designs for the event’s key art, while the team brainstormed ways to level up our previous assets. Working closely with the dev team, my primary focus as Art Director, was was to create the website. The site was critiqued in various design blogs, one article stated it “oozes with awesomeness.” Alongside the website, I dove into designing event materials like schedules and lanyards, letting my creative typography skills shine.
Our collaboration extended to bringing the Lady Gaga Monster Ball Tour site to life, capturing the vibe and passion of her dedicated fans, her ‘monsters.’
We managed to raise $1 million through Free Fest, and then we directed our efforts towards actively supporting homeless youth in America. Specifically, I contributed to the NYHAM initiative (National Youth Homeless Awareness Month), particularly focusing on the ‘blank 2clothe’ campaign. I took charge of designing event signage and print advertisements for this uniquely engaging initiative.
