JOsie Kelly’s PUBLIC HOUSE
I led the complete brand development as the Creative Director at MIP, alongside my small team: one support designer and two account executives. We started from scratch, conceiving the brand’s identity from its inception. Our client had a vision of her own Irish roots and yet wanted an America touch, given its location in Somers Point, New Jersey.
The design of the logo was a team effort, with my own final touches to ensure balance and elegance, especially with the typography. I established the brand’s identity. I was excited to create their website, and custom illustrations for various events, which were placed on shirts, web, print, and social outlets. I also designed their menus, many event graphics and social media content.
My proudest achievement was the design of their restaurant signage. I meticulously designed it using a few different Irish-inspired fonts that I manipulated to be inviting and aesthetically pleasing.
